February 11, 2018 | 3pm-5pm

Join us for an interactive workshop where you’ll get to learn the history about the genre of Afro-Caribbean dance and experience different steps and combinations influenced by this exciting style.
The workshop will be lead by Carla Otero and Etienne Hernandez, a sister and brother duo both from Puerto Rico and now resident dance instructors at different studios around MA. Carla is Assistant Director for the Colleges of the Fenway Dance Project and serves as Treasurer to the Massachusetts Dance Education Organization. Etienne is company member at Forty Steps Dance in Nahant and Danza Organica in Jamaica Plain. Both very involved in the community and the dance world.
